You need light when in the middle of nowhere and old school 4D flashlights are, well, old school. We rent headlamps from Black Diamond that outperform any old flashlight and LED lanterns that can keep the picnic table and tent illuminated.

In the woods you should be afraid of the dark which is why at the minimum you need light on demand. (We joke. Don’t be afraid of the dark. You’re fine. Really.)
