HOW THIS WORKS

Renting camping and backpacking equipment from MSRG is the easiest way to get outside and enjoy yourself.

Rent tents, sleeping bags and air pads, cooking and lighting gear and coolers. Purchase food, growlers, water purification devices and bear spray. If it is for the outdoors, MSGR has it. Simply tell us when and where you want the gear, have fun and return it all to us the day after your trip ends. As the “Official Outfitter of Great Times,” it’s our goal to make sure you have the rental equipment to make your outdoor experience an affordable, accessible and memorable. STEP 1

Select gear (camping, backpacking, winter), including the number of nights you’ll sleep under the stars.
Consider renting a complete kit. Kits are assembled to provide the required items for your adventure, including many you may not have considered. If you are not sure what you need or want just ask us for help! You’ll need to provide your rental start date. This is the latest date you must have the gear delivered or the date you will pick up the gear from Mountain Side.

STEP 2

Tell us where (option to pick-up in the store or deliver direct to your U.S. location)

Shipping: We ship to hotels and resorts, friend’s houses, college dorm rooms; wherever UPS can deliver. Please be aware UPS delivers gear 1-5 business days after the day we ship. This is based on your provided delivery address (view UPS delivery-time map more shipping info [link to UPS delivery map]). Your start date must be during the work week (Monday-Friday) to accommodate UPS delivery days. You’ll pay for outbound shipping at checkout and return shipping when and where you return the gear. You are not charged for the days the gear is in transit.

STEP 3

Use your gear (sleep under the stars. Have fun. Return the gear.)

Returning Rental Gear

Shipping:

Ship the gear in the same box you received it and drop-off any UPS location (find the closest to you) or other convenient shipping point. The cost is on you. Gear should be returned to us in as close to the condition as you received. This means you’ll need to remove any excess dirt, mud and sand prior to returning the gear. Same with food on a stove, mud on a backpack, dirt on a sleeping bag – you get the picture. Other terms and conditions do apply. Drop-off:

Drop off the gear with us any day of the week at our drop-off point, or contact us for an alternative pick-up/drop-off point with extended hours.

We promise the gear you purchase is in amazing condition, clean and ready for use.
